ST. COLUMBA'S YOUTH CLUB
Are you in P7 to S5?
Are you interested in a Catholic Youth Club?
Well, look no further! The St. Columba's Youth Group, YTG is an excellent place to meet and get to know other young Catholics. We meet from 6:30pm to 8pm, on Mondays. So come meet and and see for yourself and get to know other young Catholics. We hope to see you there! God bless!
YOUNG ADULTS GROUP (18 to 35-ish)
Wednesdays at 7.15pm
The Young Adults group is a lively group who meet weekly for discussion, prayer and music. currently running an ALPHA course, starting at 7pm every Wednesday evening with a wonderful meal. If you are interested in deepening your faith further, please come along!
We start every meeting with a coffee in the kitchen. This is a great opportunlty to meet people and catch up on everyon'es news for the week. At abut 7.45pm we start our evening with some worship, normally accompanied by Fr. Keith on the guitar. Recently the Young Adults group has run a number of different courses, including ALPHA, Catholicism 201 and the Life in the Spirit dvds. After the talks we split into small groups for discussion and prayer. At the end we meet up for a final song.

As well as course-based evenings, we have had a few social events including a games night and a singing night! Since the Young Adults group started in 2005 we have gone away on an annual retreat to Tomintoul, providing a great opportunity to build friendships and grow in our faith.

Life Teen is an international Catholic movement that serves the Church by providing resources and faith experiences that help lead teens closer to Christ. This is accomplished through a vibrant Eucharistic spirituality and by creating widespread opportunities for teens to grow in their faith.

Catholic Youth Service - On behalf of the Bishop's of England and Wales the CYS support the catholic youth ministry community.Xt3 - Since its launch in 2004 Xt3.com has built an online global youth community promoting gospel values. Its relaunch in 2008 as the official social networking site for WYD Sydney 2008 and beyond will connect you to a Faith based community, bringing the Gospel of Christ into the Third Millennium.
Faith Movement - A group of priests, religious and lay Catholics drawn together by a shared vision of Christ.
Sion Community - Lots of stuff going on for young people including mission team, leadership training and youth programme for gap year students.
Youth 2000 - is an independent, international initiative that helps young adults aged 16-35 plug back into God at the heart of the Roman Catholic Church.
Youth Cafe- 6 sessions based around DVDs. Explore your faith....ask questions....have fun!
Young Catholic Workers - an organisation which links groups of young people/young adults together through friendship, formation and action.
Youth SVP - Youth SVP is a voluntary Christian organisation. When you join a Youth SVP group, you volunteer to offer one-to-one help and support to people in need in the local community.
